Welcome to my shop. I am AnnaCris. The name is a shortened version of my first and middle names - Anna Cristina. My mom calls me AnnaCris on many occasions and I always love it so this company name is an homage to her. You can call me Anna or AnnaCris.

Growing up I was always into beauty products. It started off with makeup and nail polish but in my early 20s, I bought a beauty book that had tons of wonderful, simple recipes that you could make yourself to maintain your skin and hair with ingredients right from your kitchen. I experimented with many and I knew then that at some point in my life I wanted to make my own recipes and focus on the maintenance side of beauty. Although I didn't start playing around with my own recipe until years later, I always made many of my favorites from this book to maintain my skin. I know that using those plus my handcrafted recipe has helped me keep my skin clear and healthy. People always compliment my skin and ask what I use. My routine is ridiculously simple.

 

I'm totally NOT a morning person which doesn't allow me any time to apply too many things before heading out. A good exfoliator and a great moisturizer, also some lip balm and I'm out the door (lol). I know many of the non-morning people can relate. Enter my "Honey Bun" face and body sugar scrub. I wanted to make a gentle exfoliator that left my skin smooth, clear and looking refreshed for longer than a day. Plus, something that I wouldn't have to think twice about leaving the house without makeup on. Many of us are always on the go or rushing out so one product that gives this type of result is essential. This sugar scrub is it. You can use this in the morning, apply just your moisturizer and your face and body will look radiant, feel super smooth and that healthy glow will last for several days.

With so many environmental issues these days, many of us are conscious of using products that are natural and free of chemicals. I chose three key ingredients to keep it simple. A less abrasive sugar, some coconut oil which I love and is fantastic for so many uses and Manuka honey which has wonderful properties for the skin. Also, all three mixed together creates the most delicious scent. Wait until you open the jar...

Of course I want women of all ages to have healthy, gorgeous skin so my focus is on all of us. Whether you're 18, 27, 35, 46, 57, 69, basically any age, this scrub is for you. We all want to look and feel beautiful without having to do too much. We all deserve this and Honey Bun will make you feel just lovely.

 

But wait, let's not leave out the gentlemen in our lives. Fellas, you can use this scrub as well. You also deserve to have great skin. Exfoliate your face, your lips, your hands, even our bearded men. Your beards will thank me later. Give it a try guys. I promise you'll love it too.

I've made this scrub for years. My momma uses it and now some of my friends do as well and they love it. I've tweaked it here and there and I feel like now it's just right to share with the world. Honey Bun is like having an amazing spa-like experience at home. Your face, your lips, your hands, your whole body will be left feeling luxurious. My hope is that everyone looks in their mirrors and sees beautiful, healthy, skin that they love. That's my goal and will continue to be as I develop more products. I strive to create a skincare brand that focuses on specific problem areas that we all deal with - dry skin, products that soothe, serums for the eyes, lotions to use after exfoliation while using just a few natural ingredients. So many ideas! There is no limit to my vision. Plus, I've wanted to own a business since I was a teen but that's a whole other story.
